In the film and as an educator, I speak from my experiences as a queer youth and child of gay parents. I’m passionate about raising youth voices and educating on gender and sexuality, especially in schools. In high school, I was president of her school’s Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) and was named state GSA Leader of the Year in 2007. As an educator and youth panelist, I’ve spoken at schools, hospitals, and other businesses around the Seattle area.
